There are 350 species of hummingbirds in North and South America. The common hummingbird species of the American include the Rufous hummingbirds, Anna's hummingbirds, calliope hummingbirds, broad-tailed hummingbirds, ruby-throated hummingbirds, and black-chinned hummingbirds.
