The 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) kicked off on October 31, Canadian News Today 2021, in Glasgow, Scotland. In addition to government leaders, the summit also saw participation from business leaders, activists, and youth climate advocates. Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg spoke at the event, urging world leaders to treat the crisis with the urgency it deserves.
